Grove Park Swimming Pool Rules

Swimming pool hours are 9:00am to 9pm.

There are no lifeguards on duty. Swim at your own risk.

Children under twelve years of age, must be accompanied by a parent or other authorized adult (sixteen or older).

NO more than two (2) guests are allowed per household unless accompanied by an adult (eighteen or older) homeowner. Maximum number of guests is 5 per household, excluding immediate family members, unless hosting a scheduled pool party (see Grove Park Club House Rules and Grove Park Club House Rental Request Form).

Homeowners present at the pool have both the authority and responsibility, as members of the Association, to monitor activities in and around the pool and club house, to bring violations of Association Rules and Regulations to the attention of offending parties, to request cessation of inappropriate behavior and to report such incidents to the Pool and Clubhouse Chairperson. Such incidents could lead to suspension of pool rights and / or damage assessment, as determined by the Association Board of Directors.

No profanity or swearing. No inappropriate touching of another person. This is a family place.

No diving, running, pushing or roughhousing is allowed in the pool or pool area.

No propping the gate open. It must remain closed at all times.

No glass is allowed in the pool area. Please use only plastic cups, utensils, etc. Not only can broken glass hurt our feet, but if found in the pool, it may be necessary to completely drain the pool.

No swinging from the umbrellas.

No animals are allowed inside the pool gates.

No gum, marshmallows or small candy (i.e. M&M's) in the pool area. If not properly disposed, they become sticky on the pool deck and furniture.

No wheeled toys (bikes, scooters, roller blades) are allowed in the pool area. Please leave them outside the gate and away from the door so residents may enter and exit the pool area safely.

Please no playing with balloons or plastic gloves in the pool.

The rope in the pool must remain installed at all times.

Please do not walk or stand on the rope. If the hook pulls away from the pool, it will be costly to fix.

The playground toys are for children under 10 years old. They will not take the weight of older children.

When you use the restrooms or water fountain, please towel off before you go inside the clubhouse. Please do not track water into the building as the floor gets slippery.

Please pick up all litter when you leave the pool and throw it in the trashcans by the gate.

Please put all empty pizza boxes in the big trashcans. The cardboard cartons tear the plastic bag in the smaller trash can.

If you hear thunder or see lightning, please leave the pool area immediately and wait 20 minutes before returning. Also, please close umbrellas.

If you raise the umbrellas, please lower them when you leave.

If you leave or lost something of value, please contact Association President. Valuables will not be left in the yellow Lost & Found bin.

No tobacco products are allowed in the gated pool area or clubhouse.

Only (2) gas grills are permitted within the fenced area of the Club House and Pool. When using a gas grill it is to be located by the fence next to the doors of the pool’s pump room.

Do not play with or pull on the pool sprinklers. They are there to cool the pool water.
