Mission Statement

At the beginning of the year, Silvia Hilligardt suggested the neighborhood put together a mission statement to help guide current and future decision that affect the future of our neighborhood.
Despite the seriousness of this subject, the ensuing meetings to coordinate this effort have been organized around a social setting of fine food and even better company. It has been a pleasure to participate in this endeavor and see the cohesiveness of a group that truly believes in their goals and set about to derive a mission statement that encompases such a diverse group of people living in the same neighborhood.
The mission statement committee has completed a ?“straw?” mission statement. As part of the process, the committee identified key areas thought to be the most important as a community. Things like security, respect, friendly, etc.,
Once these ideals were identified, they were incorporated into a series of phrases that would embody the feelings of our community. The following mission statement is presented as a model for everyone?’s consideration. We encourage you to read it and come back to us with suggestions, upgrades and changes. Hopefully this mission statement will be something that everyone believes in and it will set the tone for how we all conduct ourselves here in the Groves of Gilbert.

Enrich families?’ lives by providing a community that is warm, friendly, secure and unified. We uphold community guidelines while respecting privacy in order to preserve our well-planned and unique standing. Our strength lies in our integrity and respect ?– consistently demonstrated in our open communication, our acceptance of diversity and our environmental conscientiousnesss. We are dedicated to the support of one another, the Town of Gilbert and our future generations.
