Gulf Meadows Civic Club

I have lived in Gulf  Meadows for almost 10 years now and I have never lived among such rude people. I have a really big problem with neighbors and their guests utilizing my front lawn as their playing field for football, soccer, or whatever they feel they want to do on my lawn. The latest infraction was a basketball goal was put in front of my house and a full fledge game was on. I have no kids that live in my home and would prefer if other people would keep their children and guests on their property. They have used my water spout for drinking water and left it on for God knows how may hours until we dismantled it. We have pecan trees and people think it's okay to just bring a bag and pick all the pecans they would like. NO. PLEASE STAY OFF MY LAWN and if you want pecans go buy some. I have asked nicely for people to stay off of my lawn and out of my yard to no avail. What else can be done regarding this matter without getting physical or getting police involved?  Feedback is much appreciated.

The General Meeting is 09-27-16 Tuesday and I would like to bring this up at that time.  Officer Harris attends our general meetings and can advise us on possible steps to take.  Possibly others are having the same problem.  My plums usually get a few picked as well, since it is in the front yard.  But never just help themselves to more than a few.

There is Gulf Meadows Walter Jones Park with a basketball pavilion and a water fountain, the visitors need to use.  I will check into placing no trespassing signs on the front corners of your lawn as a prosecutible deterrent.

Deputy Rodriguez was at our 09-27-26 meeting and advised ut that what you described was Criminal Mischief and 911 should be called stating your name, address and what is happening.  If they are unable to handle at that time they will direct your call to the source that can.  If happening when you call a police car is sent as this sound like it is escalating and could become dangerous
