(5.) Old Business:
a. On Feb 12 the Fillmore entrance to Heritage was cleaned up, to include removing weeds and trimming bushes on the island. Also, a dilapidated fence located adjacent to the the island on east side of Fillmore was removed and the area was mowed after removal of dead vegetation.
b. Bexar Met full service pay station looks favorable. Vote will be taken Feb 25, 08 at Bexar Met Board Meeting.
c. An HNA Business Membership Application with cover letter was mailed to 38 local businesses inviting them to join the HNA as a "Corporate Member" ($40.00) or a "Corporate Sponsor" ($100.00 or more).
d. An "Invitation to Join HNA" letter was distributed to residents on the new residential streets, Emerald Place, Heritage Way, and Cedarcliff.
(6.) New Business:
a. Recognized by name those volunteers who: participated in the Fillmore cleanup; provides HNA meeting refreshments; and painted graffiti at 1362 Bayou.
b. Graffiti Removal scheduled for March 8, 2008.
c. Robert Tejeda, candidate for County Commissioner Precinct 1 talked about his vision for the county if elected. Incumbent Commissioner Rodriguez did not show.
d. A very interesting power point presentation on gangs and graffiti in San Antonio was presented by SAPD Officer Marcos Cerda with input from our Saffe Officer Kilmer and Park Police Officer Haning.
