Anti-Bullying Program at Wells

Jan 08, 2004

Because research shows that bullying can be a real problem for some students at their schools, Wells has taken a proactive stand to ward off such a potential situation at Wells. Students not only have been taught how to stay away from bullies and how to report them, but they are constantly reminded of these steps by looking at the ?“It?’s Time To STAMP out Bullying?” posters hung by every classroom clock in the school.

As a part of this program, two ?“R-U-A-Bully??” assemblies were held in November. At that time students were entertained with magical illusions while being presented with positive alternatives to bullying. Students were involved throughout the entire program with comedy, story-telling, laughter, and participation.

Wells would like to thank the PTO for their generous funding of these presentations.
