ILLEGAL PARKING

On several occasions the subject of illegal parking has been brought before the Hambledon Homeowners Board of Directors. This is a problem that affects every citizen in the community. There are those that do not have any respect for the other citizens. They park on the wrong side of the street. They park too close to driveway entrances. They park too close to the corner and stop sign. They park in front of or too close to fire hydrants. All of these occasions are infractions of the law.

Although the Homeowners Association Board has no authority to take action against the law violators, we can and are supporting our constable patrol. We are unanimously asking him to take the appropriate action against the violators. According to what we have been told, the violators will receive a warning, next time a ticket, and third time the vehicle will be towed away.
