Improvements to Hampden Ave. Planned

The Denver Land Use and Transportation Plan was unveiled in a Public Meeting on 2-27-2001.
Councilwoman Joyce Foster lobbied hard to get improvements included for Hampden Ave. As the result of her efforts, Hampden Ave. is scheduled for future street improvements and redevelopment.
There will be a up coming neighborhood meeting that will be a workshop to plan the improvements. Your input is valued. Take a good look at the appearance of Hampden and compare it to other City streets and think about what would make it more attractive. Here are some ideas to consider:
Do you want the electrical lines put underground?
Do you want trees planted along the street?
Do you want bus shelters?
Do you want safer cross walks?
Do you want tree islands in the center of Hampden?
The workshop date has not been set yet, but you will be notified so that you can participate. Get involved to make Hampden more beautiful!
