Denver Parks & Recreation needs temporary summer help. Duties include maintaining flower beds, mowing & watering turf, trash removal, facilities clean-up, irrigation, and working with the public in many locations throughout the City including public golf courses.
REQUIREMENTS:
Must be a resident of one of the following counties at the time of application: Adams, Arapahoe, Boulder, Denver, Douglas, Elbert or Jefferson.
Applicants who are at least 18 years of age are highly desirable.
Must provide documentation proving eligibility to work in the United States (I-9 documentation). Documents which establish identity and employment include: U.S. Passport, Certificate of U>S. Citizenship, Certificate of Naturalization. Documents that establish Employment Eligibility: U.S. Social Security Card, Original or certified copy of a birth certificate issued by a state, county, municipal authority. (NOT a birth certificate issued by a hospital)
Many positions require a valid Colorado Class “R” driver’s license. Those possessing a driver’s license have a greater chance of being selected for employment. To document eligibility for positions requiring a driver's’ license, bring a recent (no more than two weeks old) copy of a Colorado Motor Vehicle printed driving record. Driving records may be obtained at one of the following locations:
