Hampton's at Thorngate

Windermere HOA seeding update 10/4/05

Explanation of the seeding that was done along Windermere Way.

The left side of the street, as you're coming into the subdivision, was seeded with topsoil and covered with either hydro seed or straw.

The Center median was aerated and over seeded with a spreader, not covered and no top soil. This was done to keep cost down. (rediculous in my opinion because the grass will not grow in all of those ugly bare spots by simply overseeding!)

The right side of the street, just as you enter the subdivision and before you get to the pool parking lot, is being reseeded by the Daycare and is part of Windermere. The rest of that side of the street, all the way down to the Hamptons, is part of the Thorngate HOA and will not be reseeded by the Windermere HOA. This also includes the open space on far side of the pool, so don't look for that to be done by the Windermere HOA either. -Jason
