Do we have any electricians or plumbers in CANA that do side work ??

Carpenters, heating or A/C techs, house cleaners, lawn services, etc ??

We all do something that is worth being paid for and in this economy some of us need extra cash and some of us need work done at a fair price.

This a very good concept, however with so many renters in area it is difficult to deal with landlords ect. I know if we could come up with a  common idea and to deal directly with HOME OWNERS it would work very well. There are many skilled dedicated license holding trades people here whom are willing to try something like this.Let's see how replys go back and forth to your post and thanks! Been here since 1982!  Sign me intereseted mech. cont.

You are correct,  my post was directed at HOMEOWNERS in the CANA area.

I agree with you that there are probably many license holding professionals in the area that may have a huge untapped market right here in their own back-yard, so to speak. 

Houses in this area are  50+ years old now and require maintenance and repairs that not all of us are knowledgeable enough to do.

I have installed ceiling fans and my own hot water tank but I really prefer to leave anything dealing with electricity, water or natural gas to someone that knows what they are doing.  Some things are worth paying for.

I am sure a licensed plumber, electrician or heating and A/C person could earn a living just servicing the local neighbors in the CANA area...

I think this is a Great Idea!

My husband owns Grounds Crew, LLC and we are residents of Colonial Acres going on 3 years now.

You have probably seen our trucks around the neighborhood.  They read "Grounds Crew: Landscape Management" with a black "baseball diamond" logo.

We do residential and commercial lawn maintenance and landscaping at reasonable prices.

With the economy down we are also offering discounts and payment plans to our customers.

With us renovating our home, we are also willing to negotiate bartering for services.
