MURDER IN OUR AREA 7/29/09 - UPDATE 9-4

Double Murder at 2700 block of Andrea

On 7/29/2009 at approximately 10:00 p.m. there was a double murder committed at the corner of the 2700 block of Andrea, just across Shiloh from our crime watch area.

There was a vehicle seen fleeing the scene at a high rate of speed down Andrea towards Harry Stone Park. When the vehicle came upon Casa Oaks, they tried to make a quick turn towards Millmar and ended up jumping the curb at the park and possibly hit the No Parking sign located there. Then, they backed up and again, at a high rate of speed, headed for Millmar. Once at Millmar, they quickly turned to head towards Shiloh never even slowing down for the stop sign located there.

If anyone has any information, no matter how unsignificant you may think it is, please notify the Dallas Police immediately. If you are uncomfortable doing that, please let me know what you saw and I will get the information to them. Either way, your information will be kept strictly confidential.

UPDATE! 9/4/09

The Dallas Police Officer that attending our meeting on 8/31 said that the two men that were arrested for the double murder are still in jail and will not be released on bond since they are being charged with capital murder.

The Grand Jury has not convened as of yet on their case, however, one of the officers will be notifying me whenever a new update becomes available.
