I've been emailing the coucil anonymously about the campaign signs at the rec center during early voting. I believe they are illegal and can't not get anyone to remove them. They are getting bigger, 4'x4'. One was covered in graffiti and was removed!

The empty drink containers litter the soccer field after soccer. Could the coaches and parents have the kids 'police' the area when the game is over. I suggest teams that litter not be allowed to use the fields. The pee wee area was litterless while the bigger kids fields had hundreds of empty drink containers along the sidelines.

The recycle dumpster is overflowing AGAIN. The city is non responsive empting it.

I totally understand about the soccer players trash.  I end up having so much trash in my yard from the soccer players it's ridiculous.

As far as the campaign signs at the rec center, they are legal during the voting period.  The only thing they have to comply with is being a certain amount of feet away from where the actual voting takes place.  That is also a requirement for any candidates that are outside the polling center attempting to campaign for votes.

As far as the recycle dumpster goes, I personally don't understand why the city even still has that eyesore in the tennis court parking lot!  The City of Dallas delivered the blue recycle rolling cart to all the households in the City of Dallas (or at least they were suppose to), so why is there still a need for this dumpster?!
