Hi all,

I am new to this website so I hope it is not inappropriate to post this for discussion/information.

I volunteer with a labrador retriever rescue group (The Labrador Connection or TLC for short). We are always looking for volunteers to foster labs, to help do home visits of potential foster homes/adoptive homes, to help at various events, to assist with transporting labs, etc.

I have lived in Bay View for 10 years & know most of the neighborhood is a great place to foster/adopt a lab in need. No, you do not have to have a fence to foster/adopt.

If you are interested in helping a lab in need, please see our website www.labradorconnection.org or e-mail me directly. There are on-line applications to foster/adopt or just volunteer doing some of the other things mentioned above.

We are in need of kind & caring people to become foster homes for the labs we take in. As a foster home, you have the choice to adopt if you so decide. You are financially reimbursed (must present receipt) while a foster home only, for vet checks, medication (if needed) & dog food.

If you are not interested in any of the above, you may know someone who might be. If you would be so kind as to inform them of our website, the labs (& the volunteers our group is made up of) will be forever grateful!

Thanks for your time & please check out our website for the sake of labs in need.
