119th Road Alignment
Meeting Format
Our Guest Ms. Maria Rivero, has made herself available to our Neighborhood under special arrangements.
As the Project Manager for Clark County Public Works, Ms. Rivero is responsible for identifying an alignment for the new 119th (Hazel Dell Ave. to NW 7th Ave.) that provides the best service with the least impacts. She has no authority to stop this project and can not answer to the question of stopping this project..
Ms. Rivero is returning to our area to discuss any new information and questions. She has asked that we all read very carefully the comments and questions that were summarized after the December 1998 Open House. A copy of the summary report is availlible on this website (two parts: New Road #1 & #2). Because of the limited time, she would like to focus on answering any new questions.
Format: Ms. Rivero will spend about 15 minutes bringing us up to date on the status of the alignment, the project schedule, and background on how we got here. She will then be available to answer questions for 15-20 minutes. To insure that all your questions and comments are heard by the County, we ask that they be submitted in writing, either in advance of or at the meeting. At the meeting we will be read as many questions as time allows. Ms. Rivero will try to respond to any unanswered questions in a timely fashion. Please include a return address for your response.
We look forward to a good working relationship with the County on this project.
Please check out our web site for other discussions on this and other topics.
