A Craftsman Bungalow built in 1921 on S. Ross Street
The hipped gabled roof adds a Tudor flavor to the single storied Craftsman Bungalow. Single Exposed beam ends accent the gable faces of both the front-facing main roof and the off-set front-facing porch roof. Large square columns resting on piers support the porch roof. a chimney on the north side matches the piers which are made of two different sizes of manufactured stone placed in alternating layer. Plate glass windows and double-hung windows are used through out the house.
R.W. Barker was the first occupant of the house. In 1922 James and Elizabeth Dobbs and their son Frank moved in. Sam and Rosa Gisler, who were farmers, lived here for several years after 1923.
