Reaching-Out Community Services operates as a supermarket- style program.
It is designed so that our recipients are able to select food items based on their dietary needs. This program is one-of-a-kind in the Brooklyn area. There are several advantages for this type of this food pantry. It is more dignifying for the patrons who come to this program to get help with food. Instead of being handed a bag of random food goods, they are able to shop for themselves and select food, based on their dietary needs.
We try to offer a variation of nutritional food items along with fresh fruits & vegetables.
