Conserving the Past; Protecting the Future
Our final conservation district information session will be open during the May 8 meeting at 10 a.m. In the November 2002 newsletter I published the full definition of conservation districts, and since that time we have had two information presentations. Do we want to protect our neighborhood by preventing any future development that is out of character with what?’s here now (i. e. garages in front of houses, walls without windows, etc.)? Now?’s the time.
Learn more Saturday also about historic districts and what they are. City of San Antonio staff will present information so that interested homeowners can decide whether to apply with their neighbors on a block-by-block basis.
I?’ll be leaving the meeting early for a final exam, so VP Helen Dutmer will carry on! Thanks! ?–RC

The one legal requirement to maintain our status as a corporation in Texas is a permanent file of the minutes of every Board of Directors meeting since incorporation (nearly 20 years). PLEASE, do you have any copy or original of such minutes?

WE NEED THEM RIGHT NOW!!!!

Do you have something that belongs to Highland Park Neighborhood Association?
Please call Rachel at 532-4123 to let her know what it is; we are refining the permanent inventory records. Thanks!
