Adopt a block in Highland Park!
Are you one of the many persons who say, "We need to clean up Highland Park!"? Do you despair wondering what one person can do?
Well, you can clean up your community when your neighbors are cleaning up too! That's the goal of the new "Adopt-a-Block" initiative launched by Highland Park Neighborhood Association.
On Saturday, February 14, the association formally kicked off the Adopt-a-Block in Highland Park initiative with a 1.5 hour information-packed session in which numerous public entities with authority in our area gave specific, concise printed information targeted to every business owner, pastor and not-for-profit organization leader in Highland Park.
The February 14 kick-off workshop included carefully selected presenters representing agencies that regulate or assist with issues to keep our community clean:
