IN RECOGNITION OF A GIVING MAN

Feb 15, 2004

Dr. Johnson of Acorn Hill Animal Hospital

We come across many people in our lives while
on this earth. At times we are blessed to meet and
know and share with people who are beyond giving and caring and compassionate. Dr. Johnson is so very much one of these people. Amazing how some people can be so kind and concerned. Again, Dr. Johnson is one of our concerned citizens and not only a gift to this city, but a true gift to our neighborhood and community.
This man from central Minnesota, has seen and
cared for thousands of animals at Acorn Hill since
1976. I do believe giving more than he has received in the constant challenge of saving animals. Fighting disease and illness, he has given the dogs and cats a longer life and given their owners more happiness and time with their loving pets.
Dr. Johnson has cared for many abandoned or abused and neglected animals. In many a situation,
caring for the animals while he himself has been ill or in pain. Going on with constant concern and a desire to help heal their wounds and ailments. Many a time working with those that had no other hope or way of help had he not given it to them.

He has helped all my pets and many dogs I have
brought into his clinic. He never turned me away or denied help. He has gone beyond the call of duty to care for Gods?’ creatures with every way of help he could give, which at times I am sure has been stressful, yet he has never complained and worked many long and late hours.

His receptionist, Sandy is ever so cheerful and
kind and his staff is always ready to help and be of assistance with care and also with concern and
kindness.

It also is amazing that his clinic has functioned so well for all these years with times being as they are. Hard at times and difficult at times. It has remained intact, I do believe, mostly because of his giving nature and that of his employees, and of course because of his many years of knowledge and his willingness to listen and talk to those that need his care and help.
There are many ways to acknowledge such a giving person. I thank you Dr. J for your continued service and care of so many in our neighborhood, so many pets and their owners, so many mistreated or abused. For this you are truly appreciated more than words can say. May you receive back some of the blessings you give to so many. Thanks and gratitude are yours and
forever a respect that we have for you. Take care and keep up the excellent work. God bless you and yours.
