Gary Guthrie?’s conception of the gazebo, now located at 845 8th Avenue South, proved fruitful and sets an example of positive thinking for other?’s to follow. Thanks Gary. For constructive direction everyone is indebted to Dick Geibner. His time and knowledge made the assemblage of the gazebo go unbelievably smoothly. Dave Camfferman, Gary, Dick, Curt Bevel, Kay Firn, Ron Motyka, Tim Welby, Tom and Tim Hummel, Kai Warren and Chuck Haney all contributed to the almost 300 volunteer hours involved in putting the gazebo in place. This was no small feat and the accolades we have received for the improved appearance of this empty section of park has made it worth while.
