Dumpsters:
On Saturday, April 12 and 13th, the City of St Petersburg Sanitation Dept will be bringing two 12 yard dumpsters to the neighborhood for your disposing pleasure. This is a good opportunity to be rid of the firewood that didn't burn last winter, the last of the oak leaves, and any other nonhazardous waste. Please keep paints, chemicals and flourescent tubes out of the dumpsters.
The dumpsters will be located on two City owned lots at the following locations: 8th Street & 9th Avenue S, and 5th Street & Roser Park Drive S. Sanitation will pick up the dumpsters some time on Monday, April 14th.
Clean up: Saturday April 19th - 9:00 am
On Saturday, April 19th the rusticated block markers at each entrance to the neighborhood will receive some much needed sprucing up. The Association will be planting, mulching and replacing some of the signs that have become damaged over the years. New Dwarf Junipers and other drought tolerant plants will be available at the locations needing new plants, and water and mulch will be spread throughout.
If you would like to participate in refreshing the "Welcome Mat" to the neighborhood, please give a call to Trey McDonald at 550-3771, or join your neighbors at the Gazebo on 8th Avenue for breakfast at 8:30, Saturday April 19th.
