By observing and reporting suspicious activity we make our law enforcement more effective and make our community a safer place to live. Here are some things to look for:
Someone removing accessories, license plates or gas from a car.
Someone peering into parked cars and loitering about.
Any vehicle moving slowly and without lights that seems aimless or repetitive.
Occupied, parked vehicles ?– could be a lookout for a burglar.
Transactions conducted from vehicles.
Lots of traffic to and from a residence, especially at odd hours.
Persons being forced into vehicles.
Abandoned cars or trailers could be stolen.
Sound of breaking glass, loud explosive noises ?– could mean an accident, burglary, or vandalism.
Juveniles walking around aimlessly, looking into cars, yards and trespassing.
A person running, especially carrying some sort of valueable.
Someone entering a neighbor?’s house or property when they aren?’t there, or tampering with things.
Someone exhibiting unusual mental or physical symptoms ?– they could be injured, on drugs, or need psychiatric help.
Open or broken doors or windows at a closed business or unoccupied residence.
