Dec. 2008 Homestead Homeowners Association Meeting

The minutes from the Oct/Nov meeting were approved as written. Everyone shared appetizers and drinks at this meeting, to celebrate the holiday season.

Homeowners will be receiving a letter shortly, reminding them to send in their annual dues of $25 and any corrections for the next phone directory, due to be printed around the time of the annual HHA meeting on Saturday, March 14, 2009. Any suggestions to improve the directory are welcome.

The Donnafield family submitted plans for a detached garage, which was approved.

We would also like to extend our heartfelt sympathy to the Maixner-Kiley family on 8690 Creek Trail, who lost their home and possessions in a fire on Dec. 24th. The Inter-Canyon Fire Dept. did a tremendous job of preventing the loss of other homes, and neighbors rallied to help Frank, Mary Kay and their children. A fund has been set up through First Bank of Aspen Park, and donations can be dropped off at any First Bank to the Maixner-Kiley fund.

We currently have the HHA board position of secretary open. Please give one of the above-named board members a call if you would like to volunteer.
