Jan/Feb 2009 Homestead Homeowners Association Meeting

The December 2008 minutes were approved as written.

The HHA Annual Meeting will take place at InterCanyon Fire Dept #3 (Hwy 285) on Saturday, March 14th from 9:00-noon. The social hour will be from 9:00-10:00, followed by a brief meeting to elect new officers. The position of secretary is currently available. There will be a speaker discussing the Colorado Wildfire Protection Plan and expectations for homeowners in the Homestead as well as Golden Meadows regarding a $109,000 grant we can use. Golden Meadows residents are welcome to attend as well, and they will send one or more representatives to our meeting.

HHA 2009 telephone directories will be available for pickup at the annual meeting. Ginny Riley and Merida Blackwell have been working to update the listings, and there will be other improvements as well.

There is a problem with the street sign on Quartz Trail and we will inform Jerry K. when he returns. However, any resident on Quartz Trail who would like to help is encouraged to contact Jerry K.

Dave Pond is planning to develop a website for the Homestead that would be more user-friendly and more accessible to homeowners.
