HHA Board Meeting Minutes for October 29th, 2006

Members present: David Hatch, Tom Leonard, Christy Pond, Brenda Simpson
Not Present: Rosanna Patrona-Aurand, Charles Tappan

Architectural Committee: The Blackwell?’s submitted a letter describing some interior remodeling which was appreciated, but not required for the Board to review.

Maintenance Committee: No report.

Treasurer?’s Report: A copy of the report is provided along with the minutes.

Social Committee: Christy will be sending out a questionnaire to each homeowner in order to update the Directory. Watch for them in November and please try to return them promptly. Old Business: The Bylaws and Covenants are now available on the website:

New Business: A meeting was held on Oct. 25th at Inter-Canyon Fire Station #1 to discuss ?“Community Wildfire Protection Plans?” being developed at these fire agencies: Golden, Coal Creek, Evergreen, Fairmount, Foothills, Genesse, Indian Hills, West Metro, and Inter-Canyon. At least 45 people attended, including our HHA president. The federal government wants to help homeowners do fire mitigation and will give priority grants to fire districts that submit plans.
Todd Moore (ICFD fire fighter) is the focus person to gather this information for our fire district, which will them be drawn up pinto a report by Walsh Environmental Scientists and Engineers LLC in Boulder.
The next public meeting will be Thursday, Dec. 7th at 7:00 pm at ICFD Station #1 (7939 S. Turkey Creek Road). Homestead homeowners are welcome to attend and give input. For more information, see the ICFD website: www.intercanyonfire.org
