On Thursday February 13, 2014, Shawn C. Fisher, PhD., a hydrologist from U.S. Geological Survey, will be giving a presentation on Nassau County's ground water.

This is a great opportunity to get the facts about the quality of our drinking water and the sustainability of our aquifers, streams and estuaries, including a discussion of Nassau's toxic plumes.  A question and answer period will follow.
