UTSA Sports Complex/Hausman Road

A meeting was held at the IGO Library on 14 Jan, at 6:30 P.M. on the new UTSA expansions on campus and at the Hauman Road Sports complex. The first of five phases will start soon. The construction will start at the Hausman Road side and build up toward Babcock. The first phase will have a Track and Soccor Field and 500 parking spaces at a cost of 22 Million.

I expressed concern over Hausman Road Traffic and Flooding. The city counselman talked about the entire infastructure around UTSA such as Hausman and Babcock Roads. She stated we need to, however there are no funds.

We can not support this complex until the improvements are made.

The city is hoping that federal funding will be approved. They are just dreaming.
