City Councilman Reed Helps Get Some Flood Improvements

City Councilman Reed came to my residence in person on a Friday January 12, 2010 after receiving my e-mail on our flood problem. He walked the property with me and he said he would talk to some folks about some ideas to help fix these issues. On the following Tuesday he drove through the area with the flood manager. On Wednesday, the city scraped out the ditch line along Hausman Road, mulched  all brush and trash inside the creek, and scraped out our drainage ditch which had a small hill blocking it. They worked on these things for several days. I have been fighting the city for years and they did nothing. This was the fastest I have ever heard of the City responding.
