NEW Taxi Smart Card Program

  The Taxi Smart Card Program is being offered by NYC Dept of the Aging & the Mayor's Office of People with Disabilities. It allows elligible disabled residents of Canarsie/Flatlands to load a taxi smart card with $12.50 and the program will provide $87.50 for a total of $100.00 that can be used for taxi and livery services. The card can be reloaded 4 additional times for a total benefit of $over 400.00!!  Participants can take taxis to visit friends and family, shop for groceries, go to doctor's appointments, etc.  For more information about the Taxi Smart Card Program, please contact the New York City Department of Aging at (212)442-3026
