Private Dollars, Tax Dollars, Saving Iroquois Park

A representative of the Olmsted Conservancy will speak to the May 20th meeting of the Association about preserving and enhancing this most treasured possession. As budget dollars continue to diminish across America, local are state goverments are considering scaling back operations, closing facilities, raising private dollars and creation of spection taxing districts. All caring about Iroquois are urged to attend.

In other matters:
Representatives of Iroquois, North Iroquois and South Louisville Ministries met to discussed restoring Winterfest to Iroquois. The group is looking at a preview event and video for 2008; to formally restore a new look Winterfest for 2009. Interested in helping: winterfest@insightbb.com
