The board agreed unanimously to pay for the post office box. This will be set up under the name of: Jefferson Cort Civic Association by using Tax ID number.

Beautification of Front Entrance:The board unanimously agreed to have light installed at front entrance and have the bill paid one year in advance. Pat Daly to inquire about landscape architect providing drawings and suggestions for plants at front entrance. Trees have been removed, stumps to be ground next week. Pillars need to be painted after stumps are ground.
Subdivision tie-in request:The board unanimously agrees that it is not in the best interest of Jefferson Cort residents for the subdivision on General Ott to tie-in with Jefferson Cort. There are property value issues and safety concerns.
D. New Business
Christmas Light Contest: the board will meet at 6:30pm on Wednesday, December 19, 2007 to ride through the neighborhood for winner selection of the Christmas light contest.
Abandon Cars:Hank Levenson to request homeowner to remove abandoned car at the home being built on Jefferson Drive at State Street. The parish has been notified and the owner of the vehicle will be given 30 days to remove vehicle.
Newsletter:Daphne will continue to organize the newsletter. She asked for suggestions on content, surveys and general interest for the JCCA website. She is gathering survey questions which should generate additional interest from the residents. She will include a place on the website for residents to “register” if interested. This will give us current information on each resident in the subdivision.
Forest Lane Vinyl Fence: No! Frank was approached by the property owner on Forest Lane who is asking permission to put a vinyl fence around the lot next to his home. The board unanimously agreed NOT to give permission.
Restrictions: Each phase has its own set of restrictions. Hank to consolidate this information into one document and distribute to the board for review. This is a significant priority for the board as there are numerous infractions in the subdivision which cannot be enforced as this time.
