Board of Directors Elected

I?’m happy to report that we had an all-invited neighborhood meeting last Thursday night and successfully elected a Board of Directors. They are:

Mike McClusky 134 Kenner Ave
Melissa Wert 710 Crescent Rd

I will be contacting you all shortly about having our first meeting at which we will decide on positions (President, VP, Secretary & Treasurer) as well as discuss items such as dues, bi-laws, etc.

We were also quite successful in gathering volunteers to serve on the three standing committees (Social, Beautification, and Codes/Traffic/Zoning). I will contact one person from each committee, provide them with the names of the volunteers and ask that they help organize the first meeting of that committee. At that meeting a leader of the committee can be nominated who will serve as the committee?’s liaison to the Board. Organizing these initial meetings is especially important with the social committee as there seems to be a great deal of interest in going ahead and planning some sort of block party/get together, possibly around Halloween.
