Zone Change Notices near Kenner/Ridgefield

You may have noticed the proposed zone change signs that popped up on the yards of the Richard Rhea-owned homes next to the ReMax building near Kenner/Ridgefield. Richard Rhea, the developer of the condo building on Woodmont, wants to change the project slightly. It's actually a reduction in the size of the building as he wants to eliminate the shorter 3 story section and instead make it a pool area with one or two story town homes surrounding it. Because the PUD includes specific language as to the exact size of the building, they have to go back through council to get it approved. Richard Rhea plans on hosting a neighborhood get together at the yellow house that he has just finished remodeling to show us the new plans here in the near future. I'll keep you posted.
