KWHOA Board Meeting - March 17, 2003

MEETING MINUTES

Attendees: Emilie Epps, Dennis Haughton, Vicki Spotten, and Belita Elmore

Meeting called to order at 7:05 pm

Board approved minutes from February 17, 2003.

Treasurer?’s Report
Balance as of 2/28/2003 was $12,248.68 was approved by the board. Received $175.00 payment of 2002 dues. Received as of 3/17 $2,100.00 for 2003 dues.

Old Business
We are still working on getting audit. Looking for volunteer to do the job.

A sign will be placed at entrance to remind homeowners that association dues are due March 31, 2003. Reminder notices will be sent out April 3, 2003 to homeowners that have not paid their association dues. Letter will indicate late payment is due if received after April 15, 2003. Dennis will contact Belita to let her know what homeowners have not paid.

Attorney fees from 2001 are at a zero balance. Fees were removed from statement. We received a statement confirming with a zero balance. We need to learn how to place and remove liens on property for the association.

We have files in different places. Should there be a centralized location for the files?

Check on social committee status. Do we have something going on soon? Can the social committee plan a calendar to put on the website?

Fence - curling boards are being pushed on by trees. Sign refurbishment is $125.00. Fence job was $2,700.00. Deposit was given to Great Outdoors for $1,500.00.

Landscaping
Committee needs to get bids on landscaping and work with Great Outdoors on how much maintenance will be needed to maintain areas. Quincy has planned a landscaping meeting.

No new community violations have been reported.

New Business

Can we get Speed bumps? Can we possibly get the speed limit lowered? Emilie will work on this.
