Once again another success story. Farmer Lance brought us some of the best ground beef that I have tasted in my life time. Farmer Tom brought some wonderful fresh eggs for our shareholders to enjoy.
Just a short history of the Black Angus Natural Beef from Farmer Lance. "All cattle at Big D Farms are raised on good pasture grass, a small amount of sweet feed, and good sweet spring water. The sweet feed ingredients are grown locally and consist of ground corn, soybean and molasses. Most importantly, our cattle are raised with love. Our Beef has been dry hung aged a full 21 days before being processed and vacuum packed to lock out air and lock the freshness in! All Beef has been government inspected as indicated by the sticker on the package."
Farmer Lance made ground beef from one whole cow, with the exception of the filet mignon, for our fresh stop and our cost per pound was only $2. That's amazing. Farmer Tom sold his eggs for $3 a dozen. The response was great and the event was such a success we sold everything.
