Spring Garage Sale

The next Neighborhood garage sale will be held April 24-25. We will consider a preview night on the Friday before so we "'hoodlums" may get best pick of the merchandise. We will also arrange for AADD or the like to come by each house on Monday to pick up all remaining items you don't wish to keep. We need a coordinator. Care to volunteer? Contact Lori Benton at 6/352.9119 or lbenton@rjgriffin.com.

Contractors Book

Spring is the time when the Contractors Book Committee prepares the updated booklet. We need a new chairman this year to coordinate this service for the membership. If you are interested, please call Lori at 678.352.9119 or lbenton@rjgriffin.com

This book contains neighbor-recommended vendors, suppliers, and service providers. These firms pay $40 to be in our book and we strongly encourage neighborhood residents to call on them. Have a vendor or service provider you love? Call them and ask them to get listed in our book! Contact Lori Benton for more information.

Mini Seminars

We are considering a Spring schedule of mini seminars for the HOA. Ed and Silvina Klaas have volunteered to conduct a seminar on sprinkler system and lake pump maintenance. John Capone has volunteered to conduct a wine seminar. Would you care to conduct an informative seminar for the Home Owners?’ Association? Please contact Lori Benton at 678.781.2586 or lbenton@rjgriffin.com If we get a few more, we will host the series.

Summer Picnic

Our summer picnic will be held June 19th. We need someone to chair this event and that person will need a few volunteers. Please contact Nell Fernandez at 7/587.3495 or nellfernandez@mindspring.com.

Invaluable Volunteers

As you know, the Home Owners?’ Association is purely volunteer and our activities occur only because of volunteers. With regularity someone is taking their time to do something for the neighborhood. Thank you! Your efforts are greatly appreciated.

Welcoming Committee

If you have a new neighbor or there is a new baby in the neighborhood, please contact someone on the welcoming committee. They wish to welcome all new faces to Land of Lakes.

LOL HOA Mailbox

We have received requests to have the mail box put back outside. You will see it back out at Bob Lantz?’s house at 1215 Land O Lakes Drive. Feel free to use it for HOA correspondence.

Beautification Committee

Many thanks to the beautification committee for selecting our yard of the season and for keeping our entrance and the Robert Reeves Memorial so attractive! This committee is the most active of the HOA and performs a lot of work. We are adding more responsibility to this committee by way of entrance wall irrigation system and Lighting maintenance. And, of course, we are looking for more volunteers to learn these procedures and perform them. Ed Klaas has graciously agreed to provide the instruction.

Neighborhood Directory

In the next week or two, please look for your Land of Lakes Neighborhood Directory. Final touches and last minute additions
are being made. Are you a brand new HOA member? We may not have your information. Are you new to the neighborhood and would you care to be listed in our Directory? Contact Lori Benton at 6/352.9119 or lbenton@rjgriffin.com
