The Association has reached a settlement in a legal dispute involving construction activities commenced by a lot owner without the prior approval of the Architectural Review Board (ARB). The Association filed a lawsuit in March of this year against the lot owner for violation of the Restrictive Covenants and the case was set for trial on July 18th. The settlement agreement required the lot owner to submit plans to the ARB for all requested improvements, to obtain the approval of the ARB for all improvements, to complete construction of the improvements in accordance with the approved plans within 90 days, to pay all legal costs and attorney's fees incurred by the Association in enforcing the Restrictive Covenants, and to comply with all other covenants and restrictions.
Lot owners are reminded that any construction activity on lots in Laurel Hill subdivision must be approved by the ARB in accordance with the Restrictive Covenants prior to commencing construction.
