Ice Cubes: When you are in need of heavy duty ice cubes to keep drinks cool, freeze them in muffin tins. Freeze a maraschino cherry or a couple of mint leaves in each cube for drink decorations.

Carpet Indentations: When heavy furniture has left indentations in the carpet, put ice cubes in each indentation and let it set overnight. The ice cube will melt into the carpet. In the morning, blot up any moisture with paper towels and fluff up the carpet fibers with the tines of a fork.
