Board Meeting Minutes

November 8, 2010

Board members present: Jeff Kinchen, Mike Owens, and Kristin Sthole

6:00 -  Meeting called to order by Jeff Kinchen

            Emergency board meetings can be held provided home owners are given 48 hours         notice.

            Estimated $10,000.00 total for reserve and checking accounts at the end of the             year.

            Expected $1500.00 to be paid out of November and December.

            Freeze all spending until pond is repaired.

            Cut back on lake maintenance, lawn care, and irrigation.

            Silk fence was placed around pond in accordance with St Johns River Water     Management.

            Discussed hiring a lawyer to review HOA options; such as, the city taking over the community.

            Discussed having the city maintain lawns for vacant homes. The city will maintain the lawn if overgrown for 45 or ore days.

            Cut down Dan Jones and Associates services to financial only for $287 per month compared to $450.  Lake Doctors have   been charging for the treatment of all ponds even though the south pond is empty. An attempt will be made to get a few months free due to overpayment for services rendered.

            Discussed hiring an engineer to supervise pond repair. John Barnard placed a bid with a cap of $2000.00.

            Motion made by Jeff to hire John Barnard, motion 2^nd by all.
