Neighborhood Meeting Reminder!
Within the last several months, I have spoken with many neighbors about forming a neighborhood association. Most of you have indicated some level of interest or commitment to this project. Such groups typically establish friendship bonds and pursue group action in support of a safer home and family living environment.
This is to invite you (and your spouse) to attend a brief organizational meeting with me and my wife, Sheila, at our house on Tuesday, September 4th at 6:30 p.m. Assisting us at this time will be Ronald Abdouch, Executive Director of the Neighborhood Center for Greater Omaha (http://www.neighborhood-center.org).
There are over 150 registered neighborhood associations in Omaha, Three of them are to the East, North and West of our Loveland and Cedar Hills districts. For very little cost or time invested, we too can establish a group that will give eyes, ears and a collective voice to individual property concerns and neighborhood enhancement.
I look forward to your joining me to make our neighborhood more welcoming, secure and comfortable for us all. Please confirm by return e-mail (rrunyon@mail.unomaha.edu) whether or not you will attend the above meeting. E-mail will be the primary (often only) mode of communication.
