SCRUB Day is a success!

On Saturday, June 10, the Lower Beaver and Beaverdale Neighborhood Associations held their 2nd annual combined Operation SCRUB. As it did last year, it rained all morning. It was wet and we got cold; however, we filled a record number of trash Dumpsters ?– filling over thirty 40-yard roll-offs.
Our group furnished 12 eager helpers; Beaverdale furnished at least as many. We worked from 6:15 am till after 1 pm to make the 2006 SCRUB Day a success.
