While we all complain about searching for parking spaces,
the Transportation Committee will begin searching for
parking solutions. As Joe Dolan, committee chair says,
"It's the most important issue facing LoDo today."
The committee will discuss the problem, develop short- and
long-term resolutions and determine how to interface these
ideas with the Neighborhood Plan.
Speaking of plans, the LDDI Board of Directors approved the
Good Neighbor Handbook. Pending approval from St. Charles
Neighborhood Group, HAL and the Downtown Denver Residents
Association, the handbook will be printed and distributed to
all residents and businesses in LoDo.
More transportation talk. . .thanks to the Rockies for their
donation to the Light Rail Spur-and for everyone who helped
make that happen.
The success of LDDI depends on people who make things
happen. Executive Director of LDDI, Dan du Bois, is looking
for volunteers for events and committees as well as someone
to assist in the LDDI office two to four hours a week. For
information about becoming involved, call Dan du Bois at
303-628-5424.
