From the Director's Chair
--By Dan du Bois

Recently, LDDI received a small grant through the
Neighborhood Outreach program in the Mayor's Office of
Neighborhood Response. The guidelines state we must use the
grant to further communication in the neighborhood. We will
be upgrading our computer system, enabling us to generate
higher quality mailings and more efficiently perform our
"Broadcast Fax" operation. We appreciate the generosity in
the office of Neighborhood Response. Now, I just need to
learn how to use all this new technology!

If you have never been by the LDDI office, please stop by
sometime. We are in the Oxford Annex, 1616 17th Street,
Suites 366, 368 and 370. Every now and then, we are all
there at the same time. But usually, you will catch Kathy
Motz working away as the database administrator and Shelley
talking to a prospective member on the phone.

A couple days per week, Terri Gorrell is busy in our office
making sure our financial records are up to date. Soon, we
will redecorate the office. . .more on that later.

Have a great July, and I hope to see all of you at the Fox
Sports News LoDo Games, Sunday, August 1. To enter your
team, just call the office.

I love my job!
