'Tis the season for ?… tax deductions?

I don't know what picture the advent of November conjures up in your mind, but if you're like me, you have visions of sweaters and holidays, skiing and College Bowl games. But let me take a second to remind you of another annual tradition ?… taxes!

At this busy time of year - while most of us are getting caught up in gift, party and travel expenditures - the wiser money managers are thinking "tax deductions."

Are you making the most of your tax deduction opportunities? Since LDDI is a 501 ?© 3 non-profit organization with growing responsibilities and growing needs, that question is large in our minds.

As the rate of growth throughout LoDo and the Platte Valley increases, we LDDI owe it to our members to ensure that our resources stay in step with regional development and its accompanying challenges. It is vital to the fulfillment of our mission.

In no way do I want to risk sounding ungrateful for the many wonderful things our members do for us every day in addition to their dues, but additional donations allow us to go "above and beyond" for you! With money donations, we can initiate new and exciting projects to benefit you. Donations of supplies, office equipment and computer hardware frees up capital for other important expenses. Here's an idea: how about donating money to a specific line item in our budget? It's a sure-fire way to see the direct effect your participation can have on LDDI's bottom line!
