Art evolves - and exhibits emerge. Enjoy these additions at LoDo galleries:

Jason Martin, one of the artists with work included in the Sensations exhibit at Brooklyn Museum (yes, that exhibit), will join artist John Hull to present some of their art at Ron Judish Fine Arts (located at 1617 Wazee Street). The two internationally acclaimed artists both currently have works showing at the Denver Art Museum and will be at Ron Judish Fine Arts from November 6 through December 18.

Other local exhibits include Faces and Facets: Jews of Israel and Greece is an exhibition of photographs by Bruce Bennett, New York, and Morri Mamhi, California. The exhibition, sponsored by the Bank of Cherry Creek, will appear at the Center for the Visual Arts (located at 1734 Wazee St.) from November 5 through December 16 (Tuesday - Friday, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.; Saturday, 11 - 4 p.m.)

"Good Neighbors" Take First Step

Last month, St. Charles formed a committee to implement the effective mixing of businesses and residents, one of the concepts presented in the Good Neighbor Handbook.

St. Charles recognizes the need for a healthy business environment in LoDo and wants to develop a symbiotic existence. This desire prompted the Good Neighbor Committee to meet with new LoDo restaurant owners.

The members provided information about the neighborhood and offered tips for creating a successful relationship between the restaurant and the residents.

The committee also has plans to meet with other city and state officials as well as attorneys involved with liquor licensing to learn more about how the committee can participate in that process.
