Lower Downtown District, Inc.

From The Director's Chair

Jul 18, 2000

LDDI continues to change and evolve as does this neighborhood we call the Lower Downtown Historic District. One consistent factor that both enjoy is they remain mixed-use in nature. LDDI, in that we continue to represent both business and residential members, and the District in that new business and new residents continue to move in and call Lower Downtown home.
In order to better serve this community, LDDI must keep pace with this changing environment. We must keep pace with this changing environment. We must continue to be visible and proactive on all issues that affect Lower Downtown. It is important for us to address livability issues on a consistent basis.
The Lower Downtown Neighborhood Plan, currently in the approval process with the City of Denver, will be to see that the plan is used on a consistent basis by all. By doing this, we can be sure that the second 100 years of Lower Downtown are as good as the first. This is our charge.
