Transmitters must be purchased through the association since the facility code and device numbers are pre-determined. When ordered, the manufacturer embeds these codes electronically before shipment. These devices must also be programmed into the system, by the association, prior to issuance. Transmitters are not allowed for non-residents and no access codes will be issued.
Most homeowners have 1-3 transmitters to gain entry when the gates are closed. Each has a unique 5-digit code, on the back of the transmitter in the format ?“50xxx?”. If a transmitter is lost, stolen, or ceases to function -- please notify the Association immediately and, provide the 5-digit code that applies, so the device can be deleted from the gate entry system. If a replacement transmitter is desired, complete the ?“Gate Transmitter Replacement Order Form?” (may download from the Lydia Estates web site) and submit with payment. After a new owner closes on a home in Lydia Estates, the Association must be contacted to reactivate the previous owner?’s transmitter(s) or, if not in possession of them, acquire new ones though use of the order form.
