Lydia Estates Homeowners Assoc., Inc.

Who to Contact (Guidance):

Feb 23, 2006

Matters concerning any problem with your new home should be directed to the builder of your home or in accordance with your warranty. Concerns regarding the common areas (recreation, ponds, wetlands, gate, etc.) or violation of Association rules must be directed to the association. Real or suspected Violation of law should be immediately reported to law enforcement with a courtesy notice to the Association.
Since we all share responsibility for the maintenance of property values and quality-of-life issues, you may become concerned about a violation of Association rules or city/state code. Since your neighbor may not be aware that a particular item is a violation, you may first want to inform them. You may also refer the matter to the Association who may issue a citation or take other appropriate action. Citations may result in fines if the violation is not corrected. The association will continue to issue advisories to homeowners, some as a result of items raised by residents.
Other items: City code violations, (e.g., uncut lawns or illegal business activity) should also be directed to the city's central number (630-city / 630-2489). Other violations (e.g., loud noise) should be directed to the Sheriff Department (630-0500). In either case, you do not need to leave your name. Use 911 for emergency only.
