It is recognized that a large majority of homeowners respect their neighbors, and want to make this shared community a place we are proud to call home. Therefore, it is hoped that the information sharing, through homeowner meeting minutes, newsletters and Information Notices, is not taken in any way other than to be beneficial to us all.
As you know, all homeowners have the opportunity to provide input to the decision making process by making their ideas and opinions known at our homeowner's meetings or by placement of a suggestion in the Drop Box. It's not expected that there will be 100% agreement on all matters. Once the association considers the input and a decision is made, it is hoped that all of us will respect that decision and support it accordingly.
If a homeowner has a concern with a general decision or other Lydia Estates matter, the most constructive forum is to bring the issue to the homeowners meeting where it can be addressed in partnership with your neighbors. Although not required, it would be best to contact the Board a couple of weeks in advance of the meeting, or earlier if possible, to get the item on the agenda. In this way, time can be reserved at the meeting and some research accomplished. Personal issues should continue to be addressed in private.
