The homeowners agreed upon this process in the early history of the association and it has worked to our advantage: When an owner wants to use the pavilion for group gatherings, they should first contact the assigned coordinator (agent). If a coordinator is not identified, contact any Board member who will coordinate the request with the appropriate coordinator. This involves signing an agreement for its use and leaving a deposit. The blank agreement form can be found in the literature holder next to the bulletin board. If not, contact the coordinator (Note: in the future, you may be able to print the form from the web site). Read the agreement carefully before planning any activity. Recreation/Pavilion hours are dawn to dusk. This is to afford courtesy to the neighbors living adjacent to the facility and others. The agreement, in part, reads:
The private recreation area is solely for the use of the families of Lydia Estates and their guests. Group activities are allowed for family picnics/games/birthdays/etc., association picnics or other events scheduled by the association. The requesting or other adult resident(s) must be present during group activities. Public use of the grounds (e.g., by individuals, clubs, organizations, churches, schools, groups, including public sales) is disallowed. Nearby areas, outside of Lydia Estates, are available for public use.
